00:00:12.000 –> 00:00:26.000
Alright, and welcome to the shit show. Saturday shit show, actually. Thank you very much for joining us. I do apologize, we were experiencing some technical difficulties.

00:00:26.000 –> 00:00:38.000
We did not expect for as many of you to tune in as you did, so thank you very much. We have taken care of our little issue as well as an audio driver on my computer.

00:00:38.000 –> 00:00:47.000
So I do appreciate that. I’m very sorry to get it off to a rocky start, but I do appreciate you tuning in with us.

00:00:47.000 –> 00:01:01.000
News out of the wrestling world. Kevin Sullivan passed away. One of the greats, I believe he was a Taskmaster. He was also a member of the Dungeon of Doom.

00:01:01.000 –> 00:01:08.000
A lot of great memories with him. If you want to check out his matches, go ahead and check them out over on WWE Network.

00:01:08.000 –> 00:01:19.000
I’m sure you can find a lot of his old matches over on YouTube or something like that. Really a true legend in the wrestling business. Really a shame that he passed away.

00:01:19.000 –> 00:01:31.000
Another guy, by the way, another big news. Obviously AEW. Britt Baker is going to be in the sixth season of Cobra Kai.

00:01:31.000 –> 00:01:44.000
She’s apparently going to play a part in it somewhere, so I’m looking forward to seeing that. As well, of course, as now I’m wondering what they’re going to do with the CEO and her match now that Britt has been suspended.

00:01:44.000 –> 00:01:56.000
So it’ll be interesting to see what’s going to happen. A lot going on. A lot to talk about today. But like I said, I am sorry to start the show off with some technical difficulties.

00:01:56.000 –> 00:02:06.000
This is the Saturday shit show. We are a little on in the afternoon. Usually we do it in the morning, but we’re on in the afternoon today due to some things going on.

00:02:06.000 –> 00:02:13.000
A little different than we normally do it. Like I said, it’s an afternoon show. Well, actually it’s six o’clock. It’s practically a night show at this point.

00:02:13.000 –> 00:02:27.000
Aerosmith announcing that they are retiring. They’re not doing any more touring. I believe that. Those guys are a legend. They’ve been around since the 70s. They probably don’t need to tour anymore at their age.

00:02:27.000 –> 00:02:38.000
Over the weekend, got a chance to, of course, the last episode of House of the Dragon. What did you guys think of it? My wife and I liked it.

00:02:38.000 –> 00:02:49.000
Of course, you left you on a cliffhanger. And now, of course, we’re going to have to wait until 2026 to get season 3. I’m not really sure.

00:02:49.000 –> 00:02:56.000
I mean, of course they’re going to leave it on a cliffhanger, but I’m not really sure how I feel, where they’re going to go. I know we’re going to have the war.

00:02:56.000 –> 00:03:08.000
Obviously, Agon, of course, well, if you haven’t seen it by now, spoilers. Agon, he left and he’s not going to be coming back for a while.

00:03:08.000 –> 00:03:17.000
You got the one brother who wants to control you. You got the sister now who has all the dragons. Very curious to see where they go with it.

00:03:17.000 –> 00:03:32.000
Fortunately, though, we got to wait until 2026. Apparently, HBO did announce to all their partners that they are going to only be doing one, count it, one episode of their show.

00:03:32.000 –> 00:03:50.000
You know, Game of Thrones show a year. So just like how Disney announced they’re only going to do two or three, Star Wars, two or three, Marvel a year. Apparently, HBO has announced they’re only going to be doing one season of Game of Thrones a year.

00:03:50.000 –> 00:04:04.000
So that’s, I think, going to be what they’re going to do. They’re going to drip it out little by little. But HBO puts out a lot more content than somebody, let’s say, like Disney or, you know, I don’t know.

00:04:04.000 –> 00:04:17.000
I don’t know why HBO is so much better at putting out more content. Netflix is good. Now Netflix’s content sometimes is like B and C content. It’s not like A-list content, but they release a lot of it.

00:04:17.000 –> 00:04:33.000
But I definitely truly believe that, without a doubt, HBO releases much more quality content and much more of it than anybody else. But again, that’s what they’ve been doing for decades now since, I think it was the 80s when HBO came out.

00:04:33.000 –> 00:04:47.000
So that’s what they do. Also too, I got a chance to watch Bad Boys 4 the other day. Has anybody watched it? I thought it was better than the third one. I really liked the fourth one better. I don’t know why, I just did.

00:04:47.000 –> 00:05:04.000
I think less, maybe less drama with The Sun. I don’t know. I liked this one better than the third one. I could watch the fourth one again, but I don’t know if I’d really want to watch the third one. I’ve never, you know, I’ve only seen the third one once or twice. The first and second one are very watchable.

00:05:04.000 –> 00:05:16.000
Third one, eh, but this one was actually really, really good. And let me tell you, man, Will Smith for a guy in his 50s, the shape he’s in, I wish I was in that in my 30s, let alone in my 50s.

00:05:16.000 –> 00:05:33.000
Do you have a collection of articles from the internet that you want to read, but don’t have time to dive into at the moment? ListenLater.net has a new way to handle that problem with podcasting. ListenLater.net turns articles into episodes of a podcast.

00:05:33.000 –> 00:05:49.000

00:06:26.000 –> 00:06:44.000
Want to talk about wrestling SummerSlam last week. CM Punk losing to Drew McIntyre. I’m kind of surprised he’s been out for seven months. He came back, you know, obviously the rumble.

00:06:44.000 –> 00:06:58.000
I was kind of surprised that that happened, but it did. And now Drew McIntyre has went over on him. I’m curious if they’re going to do another match or if they’re just going to move along. We’ll have to wait and see.

00:06:58.000 –> 00:07:07.000
I would think there would be another match and then they lead to the build for Mania. We’ll have to see what happened.

00:07:07.000 –> 00:07:21.000
Logan Paul dropping the belt to LA Knight. I like Paul as a champ. I think he was giving the WWE a lot of mainstream publicity with his podcast and stuff like that. And he still will be.

00:07:21.000 –> 00:07:37.000
I don’t know, man. I like LA Knight, but I just, I don’t know. I like Paul better, but we’ll have to see what happens. Not a big fan of Sami Zayn and Bron Breakker. I wasn’t a big fan of that match.

00:07:37.000 –> 00:07:52.000
Kind of surprised Damian Priest. Really shocked what they did. Having him drop the belt to Gunther. It’s only been a few months since Mania.

00:07:52.000 –> 00:08:08.000
Kind of surprised they went that way. I know they probably want to do a Damian Priest of Balor. I really want to see that, but I was kind of surprised he dropped the belt to Gunther. I thought for sure he would at least win it.

00:08:08.000 –> 00:08:16.000
And then they would do Balor vs Priest with the belt. They went a little different direction. It is what it is.

00:08:16.000 –> 00:08:30.000
A little upset to see Bayley drop the belt to Nia Jax. I really like Bayley. I really think she’s underrated. I would have liked to have seen her hold the belt a little bit longer.

00:08:30.000 –> 00:08:50.000
I don’t really like Nia Jax. I think Bayley is much better. She’s got a better look. She’s a much better wrestler. I don’t know why they did that. I think Bayley should have hung onto it longer personally. I think that was kind of a waste to have her drop the belt to Nia.

00:08:50.000 –> 00:09:05.000
I don’t like Nia. I never did. I just don’t like her style. I just don’t like the way her attitude. I don’t like her mic skills. I just don’t care for her. Maybe she’s a good heel. Maybe she’s doing the right thing.

00:09:05.000 –> 00:09:22.000
Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley definitely took a turn we all didn’t expect. But I liked it. I really did. I’m looking forward to this feud to keep going. Great match. Great storytelling. Everything was perfect in that match. I really enjoyed it.

00:09:22.000 –> 00:09:44.000
Cody Rose, Solo, Sakoa. Bringing back Roman Reigns. Not really sure how I feel about that. Roman, I don’t know. I think he could have stayed away a little bit longer. Now I think what they’re going to do is they’re going to do a whole bloodline angle with who really is the head of the table.

00:09:44.000 –> 00:09:55.000
I’m curious if they’re going to bring Rock back for this. That’s going to be its own storyline on its own. I think Roman is definitely a big draw for them.

00:09:55.000 –> 00:10:16.000
He doesn’t need the belt at this point. So they’re going to put him in and do a whole angle with the new bloodline versus the old bloodline. Something along those lines. We’ll have to see. It will definitely be fun to watch.

00:10:16.000 –> 00:10:35.000
Somebody pointed out the whole Drew McIntyre versus CM Punk thing. They just released a bunch of YouTube videos. And CM Punk says that that whole angle is very much Bret Hart/Sean Michaels 1997. I kind of agree with them on that. It was really well done.

00:10:35.000 –> 00:10:51.000
Adding the special guest referee really mixes it up a little bit. I thought that was really good. I really enjoyed it. One thing they did say, Seth Rollins will be written off TV soon due to an injury.

00:10:51.000 –> 00:11:07.000
Also, if I’m not mistaken, he’s also going to be doing a Marvel movie soon. So we’ll have to wait and see what happens with that going forward. It will be a lot of fun. It’s a great time to be a wrestling fan. We’ve got a couple more PLEs.

00:11:07.000 –> 00:11:27.000
And then we go into the holiday season. I know it sounds crazy, folks, but it’s upon us. Once Labor Day hits, it’s only 12 weeks until Christmas. It’s crazy. Once the summer is over and the kids go back to school, it feels like it just flows right into the house.

00:11:27.000 –> 00:11:44.000
So Deadpool and Wolverine is already the top live action movie of 2024 by a wide margin. Actually followed by Dune 2. But Disney, well, Deadpool and Wolverine is Marvel Disney.

00:11:44.000 –> 00:12:00.000
Apparently they’re thinking Deadpool and Wolverine is going to break a billion. But still without far to go. Apparently Inside Out 2 is still the biggest film of the year at 1.56 billion. And counting still, by the way.

00:12:00.000 –> 00:12:16.000
So Disney has both billion dollar movies this year. Their two biggest movies of the year over a billion dollars. How this company stock tanked is beyond me. But that gives them the two biggest movies of the year.

00:12:16.000 –> 00:12:32.000
I’m very curious to see. They don’t think it’s going to happen. But I would be very curious to see if Deadpool and Wolverine pass Inside Out 2. I don’t know. Mind you, Deadpool live action.

00:12:32.000 –> 00:12:47.000
But obviously Inside Out is a cartoon. So I’d be very curious to see if it could. I don’t know, man. It’s going to be close. Definitely Disney is counting their money.

00:12:47.000 –> 00:13:03.000
And they have announced Blade 2, which is going to feature Wesley Snipes. I’m curious to see if Elektra is going to come back for another movie. We’ll have to see.

00:13:03.000 –> 00:13:17.000
Jennifer Gardner released on her Instagram the other day the amazing exercise routine that her and her stunt double went through to get in shape for that movie. Truly dedication. She did unbelievable. A woman of her age.

00:13:17.000 –> 00:13:30.000
Anybody at that age for that matter. Getting into that kind of shape was unbelievable. She had said the hardest part was getting her side work back together. Because she hadn’t really touched her size since 2002. So 22 years ago.

00:13:30.000 –> 00:13:45.000
So she and her stunt double who are besties spent the entire summer getting into shape for that. Amazing for her. Like I said, a mom of three kids. Getting into that kind of shape. Good for her. She looked amazing.

00:13:45.000 –> 00:14:01.000
And she definitely could keep holding her own with the other guys. One thing I did know, you did see that Wesley Snipes toned down a little bit. If he’s going to be Blade, I’d be curious if he’s going to bulk back up again.

00:14:01.000 –> 00:14:12.000
If Jackman can do it at 55, I’m wondering if Snipes can do it at almost 60. We’ll have to see. Definitely something I would like to see. We’ll have to wait and see what happens.

00:14:12.000 –> 00:14:30.000
It’s a great time to be a comic book fan. But first, I did want to say a bunch of you guys listen on Twitch. We are streaming on Twitch X, Rumble, and a bunch of other platforms. Trying to get the word out.

00:14:30.000 –> 00:14:46.000
Get people to sample our product and hopefully download our app on iOS and Android. Helix Rock Radio. Also too, you can check out helixrockradio.live where you can listen right on your computer.

00:14:46.000 –> 00:15:04.000
We’re also on the Sonos. We pretty much have this station everywhere. So please, if you like the product, please download the app and listen to us. There’s no sign up. It’s 24/7 music, rock, radio shows, talk shows.

00:15:04.000 –> 00:15:20.000
Like I said, we do a wonderful job. Obviously tonight, we have our paranormal show. Saturday and Sunday night, they do a wonderful job as well. Like I said, if you enjoy the show, you enjoy the station, please support us by downloading our app and listening. It is completely free.

00:15:20.000 –> 00:15:40.000
We just would like you to listen. So thank you for that. But Twitch is actually launching an official DJ category and a catalog of music for people like us who don’t have music royalty.

00:15:40.000 –> 00:15:54.000
We purchased a license to be able to play our music online, but there are people that don’t have that. Small DJs, people that are just doing it for fun. And apparently Twitch is going to be launching a specific category just for those people.

00:15:54.000 –> 00:16:14.000
One thing that is interesting is Amazon actually went ahead and said the other day that they have never made money from Twitch. They spent, I think, $20 million on it. And as big as it’s gotten since they bought it, remember it was just in TV.

00:16:14.000 –> 00:16:26.000
They have said they have never made any money from it. And they are wondering what they’re going to do with it. Amazon can afford it. Let’s put it that way.

00:16:26.000 –> 00:16:50.000
They say it gets a lot of traffic, but it’s got a lot of overhead too. They’ve been driving away their big creators and people like Nickmertz, Ninja, all those guys are not exclusive on there anymore. And I know myself, I don’t go to Twitch that much anymore either because all the creators I like have gone other places.

00:16:50.000 –> 00:17:07.000
So that’s something that is a problem for them. Somebody had pointed out in the chatroom on Rumble saying that we aren’t on kick. You’re right, we aren’t on kick. We should get on kick. I’m going to work on that.

00:17:07.000 –> 00:17:15.000
Not tonight, but the next time we go live at night on all the platforms, I will make sure to get on kick. That’s a good point.

00:17:15.000 –> 00:17:25.000
Also too, some other people have pointed out other businesses that have kind of fallen to the wayside after Amazon purchased them.

00:17:25.000 –> 00:17:33.000
Goodreads, that was one that Amazon purchased, pushed it for a while and when it didn’t make money, it kind of fell to the wayside.

00:17:33.000 –> 00:17:50.000
They have a website right now called Killed by Google. It shows you all things that Google has killed over the years. They really should start, I don’t want to say killed by Amazon because Amazon doesn’t really kill anything, but they just lose interest in it.

00:17:50.000 –> 00:18:09.000
It just sits there and never gets updated and it just becomes this thing. A lot of people don’t remember this, but Amazon actually had something called Chime, which was a competitor for Google Meets and Teams and Zoom.

00:18:09.000 –> 00:18:24.000
They bought it and it went nowhere and it just sits there. Another thing they had, they had an office suite that they had purchased. They were trying to compete in that space. That didn’t work, so it just kind of sits there now rotting away.

00:18:24.000 –> 00:18:44.000
Amazon, they like to buy stuff and then when it doesn’t work out, they kill it. I don’t think they could do something like that with Goodreads. The people that are on there aren’t as vocal, they’re people that read, so maybe they’re not looking for the biggest, greatest feature.

00:18:44.000 –> 00:18:57.000
But Twitch is a pretty big name in the streaming category. It’s interesting to see them in a situation where they’re not doing anything with it and it’s still losing money.

00:18:57.000 –> 00:19:18.000
Amazon did the Echo for how long and it didn’t make money. They said they’re still losing money on it. Amazon does things a little bit differently, but hey, look at Google. A couple of people now writing in the chat room saying, “Yeah, Google Plus, yeah, that was one we all remember.

00:19:18.000 –> 00:19:28.000
Picasso, I like that one. A lot of people like that one. Oh my gosh, there’s so many you could go with Google. Google, I think, has a bigger graveyard than anybody else.

00:19:28.000 –> 00:19:48.000
Aloe, their messenger, somebody said they don’t remember Aloe. Well, you might not. If you blinked, you missed it. There’s been a lot of them over the years with Google. Google Buzz, well, that was another attempt at social media.

00:19:48.000 –> 00:20:09.000
Google’s definitely, they’ve had more than anybody else. I think definitely more than Amazon. The Google Plus thing surprised me only because Google put so much money into that, building it into YouTube and building it into Gmail and doing everything they could to get it to take off and it never did.

00:20:09.000 –> 00:20:22.000
It’s kind of like what Microsoft did with Skype. Microsoft, they really should have wrote a book on how to take an $8 billion brand and drive it into the ground.

00:20:22.000 –> 00:20:42.000
I like a lot of stuff that Microsoft does, but that was one where they really dropped the ball. They’ve been a good ambassador for a bunch of stuff, Minecraft, GitHub, things like that, but that was not one that they did particularly well with Skype.

00:20:42.000 –> 00:20:53.000
Like I said, Amazon’s got the money to keep things floating. I mean, look at how much they’re spending just alone on the new Lord of the Rings series. So they got nothing to worry about.

00:20:53.000 –> 00:21:07.000
However, what I do think is interesting, talking about streaming media, Disney Plus and Hulu announced first ever profitability. However, ESPN Plus lost money.

00:21:07.000 –> 00:21:19.000
They say that’s like the anchor that’s pulling them down. They’re spending a lot of money to license content from UFC. I’m very curious to see what’s going to happen with that going forward.

00:21:19.000 –> 00:21:34.000
You’re not going to keep spending $5 billion for licensing rights. I’m sure somebody else besides ESPN will take it, but you’re not going to spend that kind of money on licensing rights if you’re losing a ton of money.

00:21:34.000 –> 00:21:46.000
Creed’s going to do a tour after December. I think Creed might be kind of taking a break, but maybe might be doing something else. Maybe Mark’s going to release some new music.

00:21:46.000 –> 00:22:00.000
But like I said, new music from him. Creed’s obviously killing it. They just sold out a bunch of shows, 20,000 people each. They’re the Nickelback. Everybody hates them, but yet they sell out arenas.

00:22:00.000 –> 00:22:15.000
I thought that was pretty funny personally. A lot of people are like, “I hate Creed. I hate Creed.” Well, somebody must like Creed if they’re selling out 20,000 place arenas. I thought that was pretty funny and pretty cool.

00:22:15.000 –> 00:22:32.000
A couple of other things I wanted to talk about in celebrity news. We don’t play Swifty here, but two people were arrested for planning a terror attack at one of our concerts. I’m glad they caught the people.

00:22:32.000 –> 00:22:48.000
It’s really a shame people do that. I remember a bunch of years ago somebody shot up a country music rock concert. It’s really a shame. People go to these things. They’ve worked hard all week. They spend their money to go away and have a little enjoyment.

00:22:48.000 –> 00:23:05.000
They’ve worked hard all week and people want to injure anybody. I’m really glad they got these people. It’s a shame to see any terrorism regardless of anywhere. It’s just not called for.

00:23:05.000 –> 00:23:25.000
But they caught them. Thank God nobody was injured. It’s a shame that people go to Taylor Swift’s concert and they get hurt. It’s just terrible. Luckily enough they caught them before they could do any damage. Great job to the authorities. I’m glad they did that.

00:23:25.000 –> 00:23:40.000
Talking about Nelly, we don’t play him again on here, but the reason I’m bringing him up is he was in the news yesterday morning, apparently arrested for drug possession.

00:23:40.000 –> 00:24:00.000
The guy was having a huge comeback after Dancing with the Stars and he’s just going back to his old ways again. People want to like him. He’s just Tim. I don’t know what else to say. He had a huge comeback after Dancing with the Stars.

00:24:00.000 –> 00:24:14.000
By the way, Las Vegas Strip signs legendary rock star to a new residency. Apparently they are going to be, I believe, signing…

00:24:14.000 –> 00:24:31.000
They had Celine Dion there. They had that. But now they’re going to be signing Rod Stewart is going to be taking over at, I believe, Caesars Entertainment. I believe he’s going to be taking the place of Celine Dion. I believe. Don’t quote me on that.

00:24:31.000 –> 00:24:48.000
He’s going to be doing a residency there for quite some time. A true legend. He definitely is. He’s going to be doing a Vegas residency. You know, it’s pretty crazy. Katy Perry did a residency. Carrie Underwood did a residency. I mean, that’s what you do now, man. You do residencies in Vegas.

00:24:48.000 –> 00:25:05.000
Vegas is getting to be the hot spot for residencies. So, you know, that’s pretty cool. Something else too that was on page 6 this morning. Apparently Cardi B, apparently she’s pregnant. She fell down and apparently got injured.

00:25:05.000 –> 00:25:21.000
And she is going to be taking some time away from things. Like I said, we don’t play her here, but we wish her a speedy recovery. She’s going through a lot right now. Between a divorce and now an injury and all that. I’m sure she’ll have help, but feel bad for me.

00:25:21.000 –> 00:25:35.000
She’s going through a lot, especially at a time that’s supposed to be fun in your life and enjoyable. But she was in the news, Nelly is in the news, everybody’s in the news for something as far as celebrity gossip goes.

00:25:35.000 –> 00:25:53.000
I’m curious how many of you are interested in seeing the new Crow movie that’s coming out in two weeks. I am actually very much into seeing it. I love the original with Brandon Lee. I know people are upset, but they remake movies all the time. Reboot movies all the time.

00:25:53.000 –> 00:26:15.000
I think it’s going to be really cool. It looks very dark like the original Crow. It’s due out on the 23rd of August. The reason I’m bringing this up, the one thing they are doing is they are going to be replaying the original Crow. They’ve been replaying it for the last couple weeks in select theaters.

00:26:15.000 –> 00:26:30.000
It’s actually going to be really cool to see them try to bring back the franchise. They’ve got a lot of big name actors involved with the project. I’m actually really looking forward to it. I want to go see it.

00:26:30.000 –> 00:26:55.000
HBO announced that they are coming out. They released their entire lineup for 24 into 25. The Penguin, that’s going to be a good show. Last of Us season 2 is premiers. They’re saying possibly in 2025 now. We’ll have to wait and see. We know The Penguin is coming out real soon.

00:26:55.000 –> 00:27:08.000
We have Night of the Seven Kingdoms. That’s going to be one that’s going to be debuting next year. That’s going to be the Game of Thrones series for 2025.

00:27:08.000 –> 00:27:33.000
Everything new they have coming. They have the Harley Quinn season 5. They have Dune, another Dune coming. They have White Lotus. They have Hard Knocks. They have a lot of different stuff coming out.

00:27:33.000 –> 00:27:53.000
Let’s see, The Pit. We welcome Derry. Chimp Crazy. They have so much stuff coming out. It’s really crazy. Industry season 3. They are just, like I said, I said it earlier in the broadcast for those of you that were listening.

00:27:53.000 –> 00:28:08.000
Max seems to release more content and more A-list content than anybody else. But again, they’ve been in the business a long time. Thank you, by the way, to one of the listeners who sent that to me. I really appreciate that.

00:28:08.000 –> 00:28:23.000
Also, too, I wanted to bring up a couple other things. Those of you that have been watching the news see that Google has been announced. They are a monopoly and they’re waiting for a ruling to see what’s going to happen.

00:28:23.000 –> 00:28:38.000
Big news here because $22 billion of Apple’s services business comes from Google as paying them to be the default search.

00:28:38.000 –> 00:28:56.000
Other companies as well, Mozilla, Firefox gets paid a big chunk of money from Google to be the default browser. A couple other companies as well get paid. I believe Microsoft is even in this as well. They get paid to have Google as the default browser.

00:28:56.000 –> 00:29:15.000
So it’s going to be really curious. Definitely Apple is going to be fine. But they’re going to have to find a place to make up that $22 billion. I’m very much wondering if Apple will possibly, you will never know. If Google is told they can’t do it, maybe we’ll see Bing as the default browser on the iPhone.

00:29:15.000 –> 00:29:33.000
I don’t default search engine. I’d be very curious to see what’s going to happen here. This is going to be a pretty big thing. I’d be curious to see what’s going to happen on desktop because Google Chrome is really the only good browser for desktops.

00:29:33.000 –> 00:29:51.000
The one that I really like. A lot of people really do. Everybody remembers Google Chrome got very popular because of how bad Internet Explorer was. But I’m curious to see because I’ve tried other things out there. I’ve tried Bing. I’ve tried DuckDuckGo. I’ve tried many other things. But Google is the best search.

00:29:51.000 –> 00:30:04.000
So are they a monopoly because nobody else is better? Are they a monopoly because they pay to be the default? I think it’s a little bit of both. I think one because they’re so good and two because they do pay to be the default search.

00:30:04.000 –> 00:30:20.000
AOL I believe still gets paid from Google for keyword information. It’s really unbelievable. Yahoo I think as well gets paid I believe just for keywords even though Yahoo has their own search engines. They pay just for the default, the words.

00:30:20.000 –> 00:30:34.000
So it’s pretty interesting. It’s going to be a very interesting thing to see what happens going forward. This is going to be a couple years. This is me going on. Everybody remembers the Microsoft antitrust. It went on for years as well. It’s going to be going on for a while.

00:30:34.000 –> 00:30:47.000
But it’s going to be interesting to see what actually happens to Google since they’re basically like 75% of their revenue is search ads. So I’m curious to see what the world is going to be and how it’s going to affect Google.

00:30:47.000 –> 00:30:58.000
I don’t think Google’s definitely not going away but they kind of are the gatekeepers of the internet and I have a feeling that might maybe change. I don’t know. We’ll have to wait and see.

00:30:58.000 –> 00:31:07.000
I’m also curious to see Google, what they’re going to do here because Google was supposed to pay Apple to be their default AI and I’m wondering now if that might change.

00:31:07.000 –> 00:31:20.000
Maybe we’ll see ChatTBT or Facebook AI or one of those guys take the spot as the default AI on the iPhone. We’ll have to wait and see.

00:31:20.000 –> 00:31:28.000
Alright, we’re almost at the top of the hour. I’m closing it out here. I want to thank you all for hanging out with me on the station today.

00:31:28.000 –> 00:31:38.000
I know the shit show was a little late today but it happens. What are you going to do? I do want to bring up a couple things first though before we go.

00:31:38.000 –> 00:31:47.000
Next week I will have to see, we should be able to pull something off Saturday morning next weekend.

00:31:47.000 –> 00:31:59.000
The following weekend, I’m not sure if there will be a show or not, we will be at the Wally Fest all day Saturday and all day Sunday. So maybe I’ll bring equipment, maybe we’ll go live from there.

00:31:59.000 –> 00:32:06.000
Going to talk to a couple people, see if we can maybe pull a rabbit out of a hat. We’ll see what happens.

00:32:06.000 –> 00:32:17.000
But we will be at the Wally Fest the following week. Like I said, this weekend coming up we should be able to get a show in. The weekend of the Wally Fest, I don’t know.

00:32:17.000 –> 00:32:24.000
That’s going to be a very long weekend. Two 10 hour days back to back promoting the radio station.

00:32:24.000 –> 00:32:34.000
So come on and check us out. If you are going to Wally Fest, we have a spot all set up. We’ll be giving away free swag, all that stuff. That’s coming up in two weeks.

00:32:34.000 –> 00:32:45.000
Like I said, closing it out now with one of Scott Staff’s songs, Purpose of Pain. Thank you very much for listening folks.

00:32:45.000 –> 00:32:49.000
And we will see you on the next shit show.

00:32:50.000 –> 00:33:01.000
