3 Great Summer 2025 Rock Album Releases

The summer is always a time for many bands to hit the road for the summer tour season. Many artists use these summer tours to release and promote new albums. Over the summer months, many new albums were released. Here are just a few to highlight.
Bush – I Beat Loneliness
I Beat Loneliness is the tenth studio album by the British rock band Bush, released on July 18, 2025, their first album since 2022’s The Art of Survival and Loaded.
The first single, titled “60 Ways to Forget People”, debuted on April 17th and was followed by “The Land of Milk and Honey” on June 5th, 2025.
I Beat Loneliness tackles subjects such as mental health, loneliness, and depression. Primary songwriter and frontman Gavin Rossdale described the record as Bush’s “most personal” yet.
Halestorm – Everest
Everest is the sixth studio album by Pennsylvania’s own rock band Halestorm. It was released on August 8, 2025, through Atlantic Records. The band’s first new album since Back from the Dead was released on May 6, 2022, which was a stellar album.
The album was preceded by the singles “Darkness Always Wins”, “Everest”, and “Rain Your Blood on Me”, which all had great music video releases as well.
Many of the album’s lyrics focus on Lzzy Hale’s newfound sobriety, recovery from mental health difficulties, sexuality, and reassessment of mistakes made during her younger years.
Yungblud – Idols
Idols is the fourth studio album by British musician Yungblud. It was released on June 20, 2025, through Capitol Records. Yungblud released the single “Hello Heaven, Hello.” The follow-up singles “Lovesick Lullaby” and “Zombie” also preceded the album; the latter premiered alongside a music video starring the actress Florence Pugh.
On July 5, 2025, Yungblud performed a cover of “Changes” at Ozzy Osbourne’s final Black Sabbath concert, Back to the Beginning, at Villa Park, Birmingham.
Yungblood and Aerosmith will release a collaborative EP titled One More Time on November 21, 2025.
